ABOUT ME
I chose to study Computer Science in San Francisco because I wanted to be close to the startup scene and learn by working on real projects. Before university, I had the option to attend a private school in Chicago, where I already had friends, a strong scholarship, and a more traditional path. Instead, I decided on a state university in San Francisco. It was a riskier choice financially and socially - I arrived in Fall 2025 not knowing anyone and paying more - but I believed the environment would help me grow more.
At first, I felt a bit insecure, coming from a culture that values prestige highly. Over time, that view shifted. Being around builders and founders helped me care less about titles and more about what I could create and contribute.
I go on runs to the Ocean Beach - text me if you want to join!
